Jack & Jill - The Woodlands Family

MOTHERS Mothers hold the official membership and are responsible for keeping children involved in the organization, planning activities, and chaperoning events, serving as officers and on committees, supporting fundraising and sponsoring community service projects. ASSOCIATES Associates are mothers who have successfully completed their tenure as a member. Associates enjoy continued participation with their local chapter and support the Jack and Jill of America Foundation. An associate can seek lifetime membership depending on her years of service to the organization. Associates are vital to our chapter and organization. We believe that the example they have set throughout their lives is a standard of excellence that we want to replicate for years to come. During Associates Appreciation Month in February, our chapter children will assemble small tokens of appreciation to present to each of our associates throughout the month. FATHER'S AUXILIARY While Mothers hold the membership, our Fathers play an important role in the family dynamics and are able to assist in the programming thrust of Jack and Jill. The fathers lead the charge in various activities annually. Our Fathers ROCK! The Woodlands Chapter has at least 50% of our dads present at almost all of our activities. Our fathers are proud to share in the Jack and Jill experience with their families. Our dads model excellence in being a pillar for the family. As a result, we ask and invite our dads to participate and lead our activities throughout the year. This auxiliary hosted it’s 2nd Annual “Mom’s vs. Dad’s” bowling event on Friday, November 3, 2017. Furthermore, our chapter will celebrate Father’s Appreciation Month with our chapter dads on Sunday, April 8, 2018.
